Update! It's coming along well, as you see I have the Christmas lights hung! LOL
Just kidding! I don't even live in a place that has snow!! I am finally moved! I survived!! Thank you for your prayers! Things are starting to really come together. I should be able to take some pictures this week. I put up a tree (first artificial tree ever) but it is white with red christmas bulbs and white lights. It turned out pretty. I am still pretty tired but I feel a huge sense of accomplishment. My son finally showed up YESTERDAY (remember the one I was in labor with for 23 hours), he was astonished! "Mom, who did all this?" he was talking about placing the pieces where they belong...I said " God with a little assistance from me!' He felt guilty and went and raked the back yard for me! hee hee....anyhow I am almost done, so keep those prayers coming!!
God Bless you!

Glad you survived, lol!
I'll bet the tree looks wonderful. I was actually contemplating a faux tree this year, but decided against it, maybe next year...
Ha! He raked the leaves? GOOD!
Hope you're enjoying your day!

I have some Christmas lights that look like that! This is such a busy time of the year, and when you add a move in on top of everything else, it is just so stressful. You need to go soak in a nice warm tub, wth the door locked, for as long as you can. laurie

That photo made me laugh but I'm sure it looks really pretty when it's all lit up! LOL! 23 hours of labor? Wow, and I thought 14 was bad! He owes you!!!

You are so speedy, Lilly! Now take some time to just sit and enjoy the beauty of your pretty tree and the whole reason for the season.

Hi Lilly! You had me going for a second with the light hanging! It's not really a bad idea!lol Ohhh your tree sounds so pretty; I love red and white and am too decorating with it this year! Funny about your son feeling guilty (especially since you've had back problems recently!!! be careful) I did have fun at the party and came away with a really really good cake recipe! Looking forward to your pics - Til later; Sincerely, Jeannette

Lilly, if my snowmen start peeing in my sunroom, I'm going to have a real mess! You were one of the blogs I thought of when I got this award, but then I thought, she's in the middle of a move and won't want to deal with it now. I'm so glad you are willing to deal with it. Hope the unpacking is going well. I remember all the "where did I put that's" when I was unpacking in a new house. It will drive you crazy, so try to fit in some relaxation time. laurie
