I pulled over to take the pictures of these cotton fields!! I thought of all the people who picked cotton by hand...what a horrible job that must have been...it is beautiful to look at though.

Hello friends!

Sorry I have been away so long...I have missed each of you! I need to take time and catch up on your blogs so you will be hearing from me!!
My church asked me to be on a committee that will remodel the kitchen, so I am excited about the project. It is only in the beginning planning stages right now but I am happy about being involved. (You know I love to feed folks) so this is right up my alley to be part of designing a kitchen that is functional and beautiful!! I may seek your guidance, experience and shoulder from time to time, like I always do!!

Hello All

Well everything worked out! I finally found a place to live and even though it was a close call I did not have to move to Mississippi. I survived the entire ordeal and hopefully can mentally recouperate soon. I am really tired from the move and the stress of it!
Thank all of you for your prayers and encouragement. The Lord took care of me. I will post again soon when I am unpacked.

Rescue Mission Revival was a success!

Monday night was the final night of the Rescue Mission revival. It was for 3 days. I would estimate that about 20 something people accepted Christ as their Savior. It was an awesome revival. It doesn't cost anything to be nice to people. It also puts my life into perspective. Seeing people sleeping on the ground outside by my car on Sunday night really upset me. The Mission was full and there was no where else for them to go. It broke my heart. Life is about choices for some of us. Or sometimes circumstance. We should always be thankful for what we have!! And make a difference in others lives when we have an opportunity.

Carnival glass

This is some of my carnival glass collection. I boxed it up and prayed over it...please don't get broken! I have collected each piece at different times and they are so pretty. The pictures just don't do them justice. The tall vase was a 40th birthday present to myself!! I guess the others just followed me home!

I may be moving to Mississippi very soon, so I am going to pack my most valued items in the car with me...these are riding with me if it comes to that...

Thank you all so much for your prayers and words of encouragement. I will keep you posted. I just want God's will for my life.

Down sized!

Well, my friends were all suggesting I DOWNSIZE since I have so much stuff to move eventually . To be honest it hurt me...I like my stuff...I do donate to good causes when needed, but I love the hunt and the find of pretty things. Downsize has come out of so many mouths... well here you go.. I sold this bench on Craigslist. Out of all of my stuff this was the ONE thing I can live without...so there ,I did it...I downsized. One less thing to move some where LOL I have a lead on a place that I will go and see tonight so tomorrow may be brighter! I am keeping the faith and trying to take really small steps as to not make my situation any worse!! Thank you for all of your prayers and encouragement. I know the solution is just up ahead!!

This is a real picture!

This was in our local newspaper...I had to laugh when someone wrote the comment"...look how sad! Someone threw away a perfectly good bear!!" Apparently the bear was dumpster diving and was caught by the photographer! It looks staged!! I told you I saw one a couple of weeks ago on the side of the road near the woods. I guess with the woods being torn down for a new airport and residential areas its forcing the bears to look for food elsewhere..I just thought this was a great picture!

Fall Decorations

Hey yall! I have been busy packing up my life lol but I thought I would check in with you. I still do not have a place to move to but I am activating my faith and packing up all I own and waiting for divine intervention!
