Hey ya'll! I bought this fireplace screen for....$8.00!! I am so excited. I put a basket behind it (since there is no real fireplace there) remember? I told you how I rescued the mantle from a house that was to be torn down! I am so excited. This is one of those "desires of your heart" that you only tell God, because everyone else might think it silly to want a screen when you have no fireplace ;) I love it and I am so excited! That is also a picture of my late grandfather in the Army uniform. P.S. the green plates were the most popular so I am using them on my table, thank you for the great advice!!

A friend of mine made me this sign after visiting my humble home.
He said " When life gave you lemons...you opened a lemonade stand!".
The sign is laser print on granite and it really touched my heart! So see it's not what we are like on the outside...it's the inside that counts!!! I am extremely thankful for my Life and my Salvation and I do what I can to make things pretty where ever I am...
I hope you can see how pretty this is...I bought 3 separate cards and framed them! They look so beautiful, like it was meant to be!!

Thank you Cindy for the inspiration. They say that imitation is the highest form of complement...so thank you for the idea! It's still a work in progress but it makes me smile!!

Look at this beautiful flower from my yard! I had to take its picture and show you!!

Hi Folks!! Here is the $2.00 table I bought at a yard sale and one of my wonderful coworkers built me this beautiful granite top for it!! The other wonderful coworker was able to unlock the lock so I can use the drawer (I am doing the happy dance!) Okay...she (the table) needs new hardware and some TLC on the wood, but isn't she great??? Let me know what you think!

This is an old picture, but I couldn't download my new pictures I took. The battery in my camera had the audacity to die on me! :) I have sinced polished up all the silver for the tea party I had in August! (shuttering at the memory!)

I wanted to tell you that I went to yard sales on Saturday. I had a blast. Picked up a side table with no top (I work at a granite company, so the guys will have me a top on it in a week!) a milk glass lamp for a dollar, that needs a new cord. It is beautiful! Some items for my church's kitchen (Lemonade pitcher and Bowl) and a large cooking pot. There were so many people out. I found myself thinking "If they called them dusting parties instead of yard sales, many would stay home!" But it was a beautiful day and there were lots of treasures to be found. I also found a fur collar to add to my faux fur collection. It was a dollar!! The next tea party guest will love it! Just wanted to share! Have a blessed day!
