Wanted to share a few pictures

Isn't this the cutest sign? I am waiting for my Boaz!
And the cupcake was divine!! Great idea! However, AFTER eating the cupcake, I realized I really need to focus this coming year on getting healthier. I rarely exercise anymore and looking back I did feel better after exercising...so It's on the 2009 List to a better me! My sister in law looks younger and slimmer every year (my weight is something I have battled all of my life) so she inspired me (the rest of the inspiration kicked in AFTER that cupcake!) I just noticed a walking park near my new house, so I should probably start there...the fire station is right around the corner in case I need CPR!! LOL
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. It was so good to be near my family!
Check out the next generation...
Do not be alarmed! These are good guys and promised not to shoot...only to say "Freeze or I'll call my Dad!"

My nephew Elijah. He took the tape measure and said "Yep! You weigh 107 lbs." I smiled and said "Yep! You could possibly be my favorite!" He is such a doll!

This is my nephew Mannaseh (pronounced mannasa) I think he likes his truck!! Can you believe the cute kids in this family?
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Lilly! What an adorable sign! One cupcake won't hurt!!(that's what I tell myself!)BUT I agree I must do the same and get off my butt!!!!My sis-n-law is a rail too!The boys are adorable; I love to listen to little boys talk when they don't know you're listening, so much spirit and I like his way of measuring too! Its always fun to visit home but great to get back to your own space too! Have a great night - Sincerely, Jeannette

Lol!! Love the sign!! I hear ya girlfriend about needing more exercise and feeling so much better when you do. I turned one of my spare bedrooms into a home gym and started using it....but the holidays got in the way!! All the great food just did me in!! So back to the starting board for me. And There's no way I could say no to that cupcake!! So just think of it as a two mile walk! *winks* Your nephews are adorable...and smart it seems *winks* Vanna

Hi Lilly:
Glad you were able to spend Christmas with your mama and that you made it home safely..in spite of the wrong turn.
I hate exercise...but boy, it catches up with you later in life. I used to be so skinny all the kids in school made fun of me. Now I look at food and gain weight.
Love the pictures.
Happy New Year

Cream of Broccoli Soup
Melt one stick of butter. Add one chopped onion and 1 chopped red pepper. Cook until tender. Add 1/2 cup of flour. Add 6 cups of chicken stock, whisk to avoid lumps. Bring to simmer. Add 3-4 diced carrots and 3-4 cups of diced broccoli including stems. Cook on low for about 1 hour, stir often. Add 1 cup milk, and salt to taste. Add Cheddar cheese if desired
