Stressed from the Move

Yes there was some minor brakage, but I said Lord, if it not meant for me to have then I have to accept it...
"Peace Be Still" said Jesus

I can't find my shoes or my jewelry (I don't have any doubt they are here, I just cant find them!)

I still have to finish cleaning the other place I just moved out of...it's not much but still has to be done! The movers (Led by my own son that I was in labor with for 23 hours) just basically set the furniture in the house and left. I saw him yesterday and calmly suggested he stop by this Friday evening and help me "PLACE" things, like the living room furniture and the armoir's that I can't move by myself. He said he was sorry, he thought the other guys stayed behind and put everything in place! I guess it is kind of funny if you don't live there! But I am still praising God for this new place! It has a shed that I can store things in that I don't use all the time ,so I moved a lot of boxes out there last night! It helped clear a path! But friends...I was tired. I went to bed at 8 pm last night and slept until 6 am!! I am ready to begin a new day and feeling better than yesterday! Hey! Thanks for listening!! God Bless you!!
p.s. I don't know who to give credit for concerning the pictures but I appreciate the use of them!

Moving can be sooo stressful. But eventually everything will find its place and you can sit in your new home with a cup of java or hot chocolate or tea (whichever you prefer) and take it all in.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

Oh, you poor dear, moving could make any zebra lose their stripes!!

Thanks for letting me know about your friend and the devotional you sent her. I haven't been posting or commenting much, but felt led to post that Rick Warren devotional on the Power or Prayer blog. I'm thankful it helped you and your friend. I'm sure the Lord prompted me to post it just for you!!

Keep relying on Him, the move (and Christmas things) will start falling into place!

P.S. - I was a single mom for 16 years, I understand how it is.

Moving is a lot of work. Just remember to breathe and those shoes and jewelery will show up...sooner or later :0)
Did the movers come back and help you place the furniture? How's your back doing?
So, why did you move? Is it a bigger place, closer to work/church/school? What drew you to this place?
Hugs and I hope you enjoy your day!
P.S. In case I haven't mentioned it, you are a very pretty lady :0)

Lilly I am so glad you have the big move done with! I was doing the same thing this time last year and I still cannot find everything!

It is so funny that you mentioned about your "fragile" boxes. when we were loading up the guys who helped us kept mumbling under their breath about all the fragile boxes. guess they were frustrated that they couldn't just throw them in!!

You rest up and take it easy- I wish I could help you unpack- I love unpacking and organizing the kitchen and pantrys, bedding - just love looking at those nice neat cubbies when your all done!!

Hi Lilly!
Oh you poor baby!! I know you are just exhausted! And the holiday season is upon us too. All you can do is take one day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time. I will keep you in my prayers that you will find everything you need and feel a sense of peace in your new home!
Big hugs, Sherry

Ohhh, how I know about moving. I have moved in December as well. It isn't easy, is it? I hope your son comes back to place furniture. That's certainly when we need a man.

I loved the pictures you showed! Perfect in every way!
Hope all goes well. God bless!
