A simple table setting before Valentine's day! I finally have all of the Christmas things packed away but I am not quite ready for Valentine's Day either so I am keeping it simple in the dining room. I've put everything where it needs to go but am still not really happy with the end results so I will be making some changes!! Hope yall are having a great day!

Hi Lilly! I'm loving this blog roll with the posts of new things so I can see when my favorites have something new; saves so much time!!!lol Those plates are so pretty and I love the tiered dessert tray! I think simple is always better lately! I don't even want to think about Valentines yet! does it count if I just decorate with red like I have been???lol Have a great night - Jeannette

Hi Lilly! What a sweet, romantic table! I love the little tiered tray. I miss my christmas decor but it's nice to put it away and be excited over it 11 months from now! Thanks for stopping by today - glad you like the chair redo! Take care. ~ Laurie

Wake up Lilly Wake Up!!!! I know you were thinking I was a nutcase when you saw the coffee/dirt! lol Some might say "redneck" instead of "red girls" with some of the posts I've been doing lately!!! Have a great day dear - Jeannette

hellooooo! thanks for the kind words on my kitchen post today...to answer that backsplash is the stuff from home depot that you stick on with two sided tape! it is a plastic type material and you can cut it with scissors! comes in a million styles...and perfectly covers the UGLY tile backsplash that is in there right now....the bathrooms and kitchens have the same countertops and tiles....how gross eh? I had to cover it...and now..on to the new countertops....

I love the plates and tiered plate!! Do you have tea cups/saucers and other 'fancies'? You should join me for tea...at my monthly on-line tea parties! Next one's the 9th of February!

Ooo, I love that tiered tray! I've got Vday decorations up, but not to many. I can't find them :0(
Glad to hear you were able to get all the Christmas decor packed and put away and that you've now got everything else in place. I know you've worked hard to make that house a HOME.
Since you'll be tweaking the table, I'll be back to see what you create. I'm having the same issue with my open shelves. I'm just not "happy" yet.

I had fun looking through your house pictures..I love that music stand! Great idea to use it for a picture since you can't put nails up...that is so not fair! I hope the hooks work for ya!
