Tablescape Thursday

TADA!! Here is the Blue Willow table I have been wanting to show you! Remember I got such a great deal at a yard sale? I had odd pieces to match what the set was missing. I am so happy with how it turned out! The blue plate on the cake stand is not Blue Willow but the cake plate alone looked plain. I later added 2 blue hob knob berry on either side. I do not have a picture of that. I would have added a platter but I can not find it. I may have left it at church.

This is a blue hobnob creamer and sugar set I bought at a yard sale for $3.00!!!

Happpy 4th of July!!

Here's my 4th of July table! I like the white napkins better with the plates but I think it turned out pretty. Those are confetti stars on the table.

Look how pretty!

I found the round plates at Scavengers, my favorite antique/junktique store in Panama City Beach. I have had them for months now. There were only 2 of them. They have bronze rust colored chargers under them. The square plates were found at Pier One, there were only 2 of them! The robin's egg blue is in the square plate and the round plate...
So the idea hit me to pair them up and I think the result is so pretty!

The rust colored napkin shakes it up a bit. What do you think?

The gray glasses come from Kohl's. What do you think? Let me know if I am off base here!

Ah! Why I nevaaah!!

Look at my pretty table! That green glass just POPS. It is way to thin but it is so pretty! I friend teased me about decorating my table and I thought to myself "Why I nevaah (thick southern draw here for emphasis on never) would dream of not setting this beautiful table!" She's a nice lady but I wonder about her upbringing LOL (Miss Janice you know what I am saying!!)LOL

Here is a picture of some of my teapots! Don't they look regal? The crochet piece came from an estate sale. It is so beautiful!

I am praying for good weather for tomorrow's yard sales.

I have a special box for items that I am donating to the Rescue Mission for their apartments that they have set up for people trying to get off of the streets and get back on their feet. Isn't that a great idea! I have been rareing to get back to the hunt of a great yard sale find...how long has it been 2 weeks since I contributed to the economy? LOL I am coming back strong girls! I will hopefully post something wonderful on Monday.
