A monumental moment in the kitchen !

My daughter cooked her first roast last night and I was so thrilled to be there to assist her. She has never thought much about cooking but now that she's married, she is more interested! The roast was moist and delicious! I was so proud! Since the groom wont be back home from Kuwait until December she has a few months to practice!! Yall send any easy recipes you think she should try okay?
Love Lilly

Congats! Sounds awesome.

When she gets ready to bake a turkey they bake really well in baking bags and remember to take the giblets out of turkey body. My first bird had the giblets still on the inside...what's this? haha

Blessings to you. God bless our soldiers.

Hi Lilly,
How wonderful that your daughter made a delicious meal. Prayers for her hubby while serving our country. He will come home to an amazing cook. I know you are so proud of them both.

I so enjoyed catching up with your posts. Love the wedding pics. Everything was so pretty. Happy belated birthday too.
Enjoyed the fun pics with the photofunia too. I will have to visit that site.

Thanks for stopping by. I always love to see you and send big hugs for a great day.

Blessings always, Celestina Marie

Hi Lilly! Doesn't it just make you feel all warm and fuzzy when you can help your daughter in the kitchen!!! I know mine called a few times asking about different things and it just made me happy to know she still needs me and thought I would actually know something!!!lol Enjoy your weekend - Sincerely, Jeannette
