Computer murdered by Lightening!!

Hey y'all! Well lightening struck my work computer that I used to download

my pictures to my blog. I couldn't find a picture of a dead computer so I used this one. lol

I am very upset as this has an affect on my job too since almost everything was in the computer. I am basically just a receptionist who answers the telephone without my computer at work! I learned a new word, Backup...(sigh) okay, well, I will still be able to see your table scapes tomorrow after work on my home computer thank goodness!! My home computer is just a mature computer that does not have a place for the camera wire to hook up to it! Also I am headed back to Mississippi this weekend for another family get together so pray for safe travels for me once again!!

Tablescape Thursday

Hello! I love Tablescape Thursday! Yes, these are the same plates as a few weeks ago but it just felt right LOL
I love the tea cups that I added to them. They do not match but all have floral pattern as does the teapot.

Granite Patio Table!!!

Hello folks! I am proud to present to you my new patio table that I have waited so long for!! I am looking for a white wicker set to go with this. I think a love seat or a couple of wicker chairs will look great with this table!! The guys at work did this for me!! Once the wood is ready I will paint the legs. Do you suggest white or black? I am still praying about that but I am so thankful to have this table for my pretty patio!! It is meant to be a coffee table even though it is a little high I am proud of it.

Table for two?

I dragged in the outside table to fill an empty spot! I bought the chairs at a yard sale $5.00 for both and the table cloth was 25 cents. I already had the dishes. Isn't it quaint? I'm supposed to get my granite coffee table today!!

Yard Sale finds last weekend!

Look at this cute little lamp. I put it in the kitchen. I paid $2.00 for it.

You have to look close for the box on the glass coffee table, it all seems to blend in on this photo; But it is so cute. I hid the remote to the DVD player in it! And I paid a quarter for it!

6 blue glasses that came from Kohls, I got them all at a thrift store for $10.00

I don't know why I have such a love affair with glasses and dishes but I do!

This cute little box I got from Michaels, had a 40% off coupon, it was around $1.00 and some change! Too cute!

Tablescape Thursday

TADA!! Here is the Blue Willow table I have been wanting to show you! Remember I got such a great deal at a yard sale? I had odd pieces to match what the set was missing. I am so happy with how it turned out! The blue plate on the cake stand is not Blue Willow but the cake plate alone looked plain. I later added 2 blue hob knob berry on either side. I do not have a picture of that. I would have added a platter but I can not find it. I may have left it at church.

This is a blue hobnob creamer and sugar set I bought at a yard sale for $3.00!!!

Happpy 4th of July!!

Here's my 4th of July table! I like the white napkins better with the plates but I think it turned out pretty. Those are confetti stars on the table.

My trip to Columbus was great!!

I was able to see my sweet daughter!! We had a great time at my nephew's birthday bash! Then we snuck away to visit our favorite Italian restaurant, Deorio's ,located in Columbus. They sold me a bottle of their secret house dressing. I told them I wish I were still a Cop because maybe I could send their salad dressing to the crime lab and find out what the ingredients are!! LOL

This is my other nephew that came for the party. He's a cutie isn't he?!!

This is the birthday boy, he is 5 years old!

This is his massive birthday gift pile! Mom and I each paid over $20.00 for remote control cars for the guys...they played with them 8 minutes and abandoned them!! LOL

This is before he opened the gifts. There were so many gifts on the floor even! My sister in law did a great job of hosting this party. She is very organized and everything seem to go according to her schedule. I had a great time seeing my brothers and my mama too!!

The guest ate pizza first, then cake and ice cream! Then they played in the swimming pool and outside games. They had a great time.

My trip home was good. I always get a little sad when I have to leave my family but it was so good to see them all. To comfort myself I stopped off at The Land of Cotton, antique store. I bought a tiny cobalt blue bottle for my collection and a red and white bowl from Homer Laughlin...it made me feel a little better LOL
